How to Care for a Custom Patch or Embroidered Hat
BCH does not recommend washing a finished hat, including in a hat cage. For a heavily worn or dirty hat, BCH recommends replacement rather than washing.
The controlling recommendation
Do not machine wash, hand wash, soak or put a finished BCH hat in a hat cage. Water, detergent, scrubbing, heat and reshaping can affect the blank, bill, leather, adhesive system and embroidery in ways BCH has not represented as safe.
Workmanship concern or normal wear?
If BCH makes a genuine workmanship or production mistake, BCH makes it right. That remedy does not promise lifetime replacement or cover normal wear, misuse or customer artwork errors that were approved.
If a new order arrives with a workmanship concern, take clear photos and contact contact@bwc-hc.com before attempting to clean or alter it.
